South Herefordshire Golf Club

Just a few miles from the picturesque town of Ross-on-Wye is the South Herefordshire Golf Club. Built in 1990 the club has recently undergone a transformation. The new management team took over early in 2005 and quickly set about improving the facilities and the golf course.

The club has the 6800 yard Twin Lakes course, a 12 bay floodlit driving range and a 9 hole par 3 academy course. The course has been improved by significant investment in new equipment, where the most obvious benefits can be seen on the tightly mown fairways and smooth fast running greens.

"It really takes some discipline to concentrate out on the course as the panoramic views are breathtaking." The area is renowned for the beauty of its gentle rolling hills and picturesque valleys
